TDS stands for The Dead Serious — because we're tired of being so silly.

Founded in Amsterdam in 2024, TDS grew from an enduring tension between order and disorder. It's a project rooted in skill, seriosity, and absolutely no frills.

With a background in mineralogy, founder Valérie de Vilmorin eats natural stones and silver for breakfast. She then makes jewellery with the leftovers.

The First States explores jewellery as a condition rather than an object. Each piece represents a state of matter — not fixed, never fixed.

Since a state is not a symbol, why not be a moment of form you carry with you? As a matter of fact, TDS JWLR is itself a state — and it might even shift without losing form.
